In honor of World Suicide Prevention Day, Christy from @evoleye and I created this pin, symbolizing how friendship, art, and mental health advocacy have connected us across the ocean.

Though Christy lives in Wales and I’m here in sunny Wales., our shared passion for art and mental health has bridged the gap between us. This design represents how friendship and support can close any distance, no matter how far apart we are.

The swallow symbolizes resilience, the orange flowers signify hope, and the sun brings the promise of better days. The phrase “Close the Distance” reminds us to check in on your mates, open up about mental health, and break the silence that keeps us apart.
