What we collect
- Order details: your name, email address, phone number, delivery and billing address, what you bought and how much you paid. Card details are handled by our payment providers and we never see or store your full card number.
- Marketing details: your email address and mobile number if you sign up for our emails or texts, on our website or in our shop, along with a record of your consent.
- Things you send us: messages, reviews, photos and stories you share with us, for example through Tell Us Why You Wear It.
- Browsing details: information about your device and how you use our website, collected through cookies and similar tools, as described below.
How we use it and why
- To take payment for, pack and deliver your order, handle returns and answer your questions. We need this information to carry out our contract with you.
- To send you marketing emails and texts about new drops, events and offers, but only if you have agreed. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To prevent fraud, keep our website secure, and improve our website and products. These are our legitimate interests.
- To keep records we are required to keep by law, such as tax records.
Who we share it with
We only share your information with companies that help us run the business, and only what they need:
- Shopify, which runs our website and checkout, and our payment providers.
- Lightspeed, which runs the till in our Tenby shop.
- Spoks and Mailchimp, which we use to send our emails and texts.
- Royal Mail and other delivery companies, to get your order to you.
- Loox, which collects and shows product reviews.
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Google, TikTok and Pinterest, for advertising and measuring how our website is used, where you have agreed to these cookies.
We may also share information where the law requires it. We never sell your personal information.
Cookies
Our website uses cookies that are needed for it to work, such as keeping items in your basket. With your permission it also uses analytics and advertising cookies. You can change your choice at any time through the cookie banner or your browser settings.
Where your information is stored
Some of the companies above store information outside the UK, including in the United States and Canada. Where that happens, we rely on safeguards approved under UK law to protect it.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for six years, as required for tax purposes. We keep your marketing details until you unsubscribe, and after that we keep a short record so we know not to contact you again.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, object to how we use it, or withdraw your consent to marketing at any time. To do any of these, email hello@oldeltonsclothing.co.uk. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Children
Our website is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated.
