Tell Us Why You Wear It - Kirsty

If your gunna wear a slogan make it count! I don't really wear slogans nothings really made sense to me before, I guess they seem like an advert. Offering a reason to open a conversation.... Which these t-shirts undeniably do.
I don't think I'd even have had the confidence to wear it until this year which is mental because I'm an open book generally speaking. I've suffered with grief and all that comes with it, suffer seems like such a strong word but you truly do 'suffer' in silence. I spent 2020 working on my mental health, I felt insane having to have an assessment to see what I needed help with, like I'd be locked up for grieving over losing my mum as a teen.
I can't believe I'm writing this now.
'Of course it's OK you fool! '
I'd tried counselling before to no avail but something clicked this time the guy was great... I proceeded then with CBT therapy and haven't looked back since... Well not in the same mind set at least. So I had to get my hands on some old Eltons gear only knowing minimal passion and drive behind the brand was still enough to get me to wear it with confidence and to support them.
If you ever see me wearing anything from Old Eltons I can assure you it is my own personal advert to chat. Self doubt sucks guys, stay strong... Old Eltons style!
